Scarlet Fever
- The Indian remedy for this disease is white birch root, pulverized fine, and taken in honey in doses of a teaspoonful four times a day, in the first stages of the complaint; and when the fever comes on, administer rattlesnake's gall, three grains for a dose, three times a day.
