PHYLLIS HAVER was born in Douglas, Kansas, on January 6th., 1899, and in youth her family made their home in Los Angeles where she was educated. Graduating from high school, beautiful Phyllis decided that her proximity to the motion picture studios should be put to advantage. She journeyed to the Sennett Studio where she was immediately engaged as an extra girl. It was after she had been filmed that her screen beauty and talents as comedienne became apparent, and she was elevated to stardom and has been a popular favorite ever since. Now she has branched out into more serious work and is rapidly making a name for herself as a dramatic actress. As would be expected, she is a splendid swimmer, though she is equally proficient as a dancer and golfer. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 130 lbs., and has light hair and blue eyes.
