PAULINE FREDERICK was born in Boston, Mass., on August 12th., 1885, and was educated in the public schools of that city. She is undoubtedly one of the greatest of stage and screen stars and has earned her position through the rare artistry of her work. She made her professional debut in New York City in 1902. In 1915, she began her screen career as a Famous Players star, and scored heavily as a screen actress. She is a splendid athlete devoting much time to her horses, of which she owns a number of prize winners. She can rope and ride a broncho with true cowboy ability, and often stages amateur riding contests and horse shows in the beautiful grounds surrounding her magnificent Beverly Hills home. Miss Frederick is married. She is 5 feet 5 inches in height, weighs 125 lbs., and has brown hair and expressive gray eyes.
