Marion Davies

MARION DAVIES was born in New York City, on January 3rd., 1900, and educated in that city, and at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, at Hastings. She is the daughter of a metropolitan judge. She began her career in the stage production of "Chin Chin" where her beauty attracted the attention of prominent artists for whom she posed. Then came an engagement in Ziegfeld Follies, after which she made her screen debut in "Runaway Romany" for which she also wrote the scenario. Miss Davies is an active outdoors girl, indulging in all sports, and is reputed to be one of the prettiest girls on the screen. The wealth of histrionic ability which is her birthright, has gradually matured, until today we have in her one of the most popular of screen stars. She has golden hair and blue eyes, weighs 120 lbs., and is 5 feet 5 inches in height.
