Julia Faye
JULIA FAYE was born in Richmond, Virginia, on September 28th., 1898, and was educated in the public and private schools of St. Louis, Mo., where her family located shortly after her birth. She attended Illinois University for a term but the call of the screen was so insistent that Miss Faye journeyed to Hollywood, where her first application was to the old master, D. W. Griffith, who immediately cast her for a small part in "Intolerance." This she followed with a tremendous jump upward playing the leading role in her next picture. After almost a year with Griffith she joined the Sennett Bathing Beauty ranks and not long after was signed by Paramount to play opposite Wallace Reid. In private life she is Julia Faye Covell, and collects Oriental objects of art. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 117 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
