MAY ALLISON was born in Riding Farm, Georgia, on June 14th., 1897, and received her education in Birmingham, Ala., and Cleveland, Ohio. She made her first professional appearance on the legitimate stage playing the role of "Vanity" in "Everywoman." Screen fame came to her as leading woman for the late Harold Lockwood, the two forming the popular Metro team of days gone by. Miss Allison is a most charming actress, always lending to her screen portrayals a full measure of her splendid personality. She is fond of pictures, the walls of her home being adorned with many of the masters. She is an able athlete and loves the outdoors. Of late she has undertaken the enacting of the more serious roles and her legion of "fan" friends may look for a new May Allison when next they see her on the screen. She is 5 feet 5 inches in height, weighs about 125 lbs., and has golden hair and blue eyes.
