WANDA HAWLEY was born in Scranton, Pa., on July 30th., 1897, and in early youth joined her family in a western pilgrimage, finally settling in Bremerton, Washington. With her interest in music at high pitch, she journeyed to New York City where she attended the Master School of Music, from which she graduated with honors, embarking on a concert tour of the country. In 1897 the lure of the films brought her to the Fox Film Company Studio, and she was engaged for screen work. Her success was pronounced, her blond beauty and natural poise gaining her many other screen opportunities. She composes music with great skill and plays the piano with much feeling. She drives her car with real skill, and is a good golfer. She is 5 feet 3 inches in height, weighs 130 lbs., and has blond hair and blue eyes.
