Viola Dana
VIOLA DANA was born in Brooklyn, N. Y., on June 28th., 1900, and is a sister of popular Shirley Mason. She has been on the stage continuously since childhood appearing first when but an infant. She made her first visit to a screen studio when 11 years old and was immediately engaged for a small part in "The Christmas Carol" made by the old Edison Company. Returning to the speaking stage she scored heavily in the title role of "The Poor Little Rich Girl." Following this she returned to the Edison Studio where she was cast as the lead in a number of productions. Since then her rise to screen fame reads as prettily as any romance. Miss Dana is an expert swimmer and horsewoman, and she delights in driving her huge motor car. She is one of the most diminutive of screen stars being but 4 feet 10 inches in height. She weighs 103 lbs., has brown hair and appealing blue eyes.
