Madge Bellamy
MADGE BELLAMY was born in Hillsboro, Texas, on June 30th., 1903, and is the daughter of a university professor. After making her debut on the legitimate stage at the age of 5, the family settled first in Denver and then in San Antonio, Texas, where Miss Bellamy entered St. Mary's Hall and completed her education. At the age of 15 she again made a stage appearance playing the title role in "Pollyanna." Thomas H. Ince brought her to the screen and she has made steady progress in the silent drama. Miss Bellamy is an enthusiastic horsewoman, owning a spirited horse upon which she may be seen regularly on the Hollywood bridle paths. She is still a student devoting much time to reading and study. She has beautiful brown eyes, golden brown hair, weighs about 110 lbs., and is 5 feet 4 inches in height.
