WALTER McGRAIL

WALTER McGRAIL was born in Brooklyn, N. Y., on October 19th., 1894, and was educated in New York City. The stage attracted his attention early, and he appeared in comic opera for two years, and in vaudeville for three years, before joining Vitagraph, with which company he continued for more than five years, "Within the Law" and "Womanhood," two of his early productions, firmly established his position in the screen firmament, and he continued to play similar roles with many of the leading companies. Frequently he has threatened to quit the screen for the stage, evincing a keen desire to appear in a speaking role once again. Walter's favorite diversion is his automobile, one of the show cars of the West. He is 6 feet tall, weighs 172 lbs., and has black hair and blue eyes.
