ENID BENNETT was born in York, Western Australia, on January 22nd., 1896, and was educated in Australia ere coming to America. She made her first public appearance on the legitimate stage in Sydney, being content to essay minor roles. Like May Allison she made her first hit in "Everywoman" playing the part of Modesty. Arriving in America her search for work was a long one and not until Thomas H. Ince offered her a contract to appear in his pictures did the winsome Miss Bennett find steady employment. Since then her rise to stardom has brought her a legion of "fan" friends. She strives to please at all times and is known to be a tireless worker. Miss Bennett is the wife of Fred Niblo, the director, has a baby daughter and is 5 feet 3 inches tall. She weighs 120 lbs., and has blond hair and hazel eyes.
