Intermittent Fever
-Take, on the first appearance of the symptoms, a dose of rhubarb and magnesia, or epsom salts; and after they have operated, place the feet in warm water thirty minutes, and give warming drinks, such as a decoction of pennyroyal, sage, catnip, and boneset, in equal parts, for three or four hours; then go to bed, and keep well covered up, so as to perspire freely.
