William Desmond

WILLIAM DESMOND was born in Dublin, Ireland, and has all the charm and magnetism of his race. Following a long stock engagement at the famous old Burbank Theatre in Los Angeles, "Bill" as he is known to his host of friends, found he was fitted for a motion picture career and Thomas H. Ince engaged him for his productions. He has since worked for many of the most important producers. He is married to delightful Mary McIvor, who herself was a popular screen star, and they have a wonderful little daughter. "Bill" Desmond is of the virile, athletic type and is widely known as an athlete. Aside from his talents as an actor he is a capable writer of both stage and screen plays. He is 5 feet 11 inches in height, weighs 170 lbs., and has black hair and Irish blue eyes.
