Noah Beery, Jr

NOAH BEERY, JR., was born in Kansas City, Mo., on January 17th., 1882, and after finishing his education decided upon a stage career. He left his home town bound for New York where he secured his first engagement with a musical act produced by the late Oscar Hammerstein. Mr. Beery possesses an excellent baritone voice, and was cast in this act in the role of George Washington. Then followed engagements with many prominent stage stars including Richard Mansfield. In 1912 he made his first appearance on the screen, later returning to the speaking stage. He then moved his family to Los Angeles, and naturally turned to the screen once again. He is the father of three boys and has a beautiful home in the Hollywood foothills. He is 6 feet 1 inch in height, weighs 205 lbs., and has raven black hair and brown eyes.
