RAYMOND GRIFFITH, who is a scenario writer as well as an actor, was born in Boston in 1890, and was educated there and at St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire. Starting his screen career as a writer of continuities, he had a thorough and comprehensive understanding of all phases of production before he made his debut before the camera. His quick success indicates clearly that his early training has given him an excellent basis for his present work, for his present work, for he has rapidly taken his place with the leaders. Mr. Griffith is an ardent sport enthusiast, being equally at ease in tennis, golf, handball and swimming. In fact, he makes his home at the Los Angeles Athletic Club when he is in California. He is 5 feet 5 1/2 inches tall, weighs 139 lbs., and has black hair and hazel eyes.
