Rod La Roque
ROD LA ROQUE was born in Chicago, Ill., on November 29th., 1898, and received his education in Nebraska where he later lived. He had early demonstrated his theatrical learning, and made his debut almost immediately after finishing his schooling. Stock under Willard Mack broadened the young man's knowledge of the stage, and when in 1914 his first screen opportunity presented itself, Mr. La Roque was ready. He has since been featured and starred, and counts among his "fan" friends thousands of lovers of the silent drama, who favor the clean-cut, virile characterizations for which he is famous. Mr. La Roque is one of the really great athletes among the younger screen stars and excels as a rifle shot, being fond of hunting and displaying rare skill as a marksman. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 181 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
