RAYMOND CANNON was born in Long Hollow, Virginia, on September 1st., and received his education in Knoxville, Tenn. He has been before the public for over 15 years, having had five years of legitimate stage experience prior to making his debut in motion pictures in 1915, with the old Selig Company. Griffith next gave Mr. Cannon an opportunity to demonstrate his histrionic talents, and he has since steadily climbed up the ladder of screen fame. Mr. Cannon is a student, and the walls of his library in his Hollywood home are lined with favorite books. His greatest hobby is riding a spirited horse, and he is equally at home in the water, being an excellent swimmer. He is a popular leading man, and has done some noteworthy character work. He is 5 feet 10 1/2 inches in height, weighs 165 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
