GEORGE FAWCETT was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, on August 25th., 1863, and received a splendid education, being fitted to become either a scientist or legal light. However, the urge to write made itself manifest and young Mr. Fawcett wrote editorials for a newspaper. He has appeared on the speaking stage in England and America, supporting many of the noted players of his day. As an artist of the screen Mr. Fawcett is without a peer in the roles he portrays. His pet hobby is writing, and he occasionally plays golf. He reads constantly, and is very fond of animals, and is just the sort of peace-loving citizen he usually portrays in pictures. Mr. Fawcett is one of the most beloved of screen luminaries, is married, and has a daughter 23 years of age. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 185 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes.
