PERCY MARMONT was born in London, England, and received his education at St. Anne's in Redhill, Surrey. Determined to become an actor, at 16, Mr. Marmont left the home fireside, and sought an opportunity to satisfy his ambition. Soon after having made his first appearance, music claimed his interest, and in London he studied for the concert stage. Again changing he returned to the stage, making a notable impression by his work with Sir Herbert Tree, Cyril Maude, and other famous stars. In America he played with Ethel Barrymore, and was for a time under Belasco's management. The screen then beckoned, and Mr. Marmont inclined rapidly towards stardom, appearing many times before a delighted public. He is one of the cleverest of screen players. This sterling actor is 6 feet tall, weighs 155 lbs., has light brown hair and blue eyes.
