PAULINE GARON was born in Montreal, Canada, on September 9th., 1904, and received the major portion of her education in the Sacred Heart Convent in Montreal. Deciding that the stage held the best opportunity for her, this tiny star set out for New York where she appeared on the legitimate stage for two years, finally entering pictures through the D. W. Griffith Studios near New York where she doubled for Dorothy Gish. She achieved her rightful position on the screen by the excellence of her performance with Richard Barthelmess in "Sonny." This was followed by an engagement in Canada and then Hollywood beckoned, and Miss Garon departed to play in the De Mille productions. She is an expert dancer, rides and swims well, and is 5 feet 1 inch in height, weighs 104 lbs., and has blond hair and hazel eyes.
