NORMAN KERRY was born in Rochester, N. Y., on June 16th., 1897, and after graduating from De La Salle School, attended St. John's College, at Annapolis, Md. Mr. Kerry arrived in Los Angeles in company with Art Acord, at a time when both men were without funds, and it was while wondering what they would do to earn a livelihood, that the two wandered out to University City, where Universal pictures are made, that Mr. Kerry was approached by a director, who mistook him for an actor and offered him a small role. He made good at once, and since has worked with leading screen stars, himself arriving at stardom because of the general excellence of his performances. He is a natural athlete, favoring all outdoor sports. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 190 lbs., and has black hair and blue eyes.
