Marie Prevost

MARIE PREVOST was born in Sarnia, Canada, on November 8th., 1902, and in early youth arrived in Los Angeles where she lived with her family, and was educated in St. Mary's School, and later at the Glenn Taylor School in Alameda, California. While visiting the Sennett Studio in Hollywood she was asked to join a scene by Ford Sterling, who was directing a comedy and shortly after was offered an opportunity to appear in Keystone Comedies. Her success was immediate, her vivid personality and charming figure showing to splendid advantage in the comedies. She became a comedy star, and has since graduated into the ranks of dramatic stars. Athletics are her strong forte, she being an expert swimmer and rider. She has never appeared on the legitimate stage, is married to Kenneth Harlan, is 5 feet 4 inches in height, and weighs 123 lbs. She has dark hair and blue eyes.
