A Dolph Menjou

A DOLPH MENJOU was born in Pittsburgh, and received his education at Culver Military Academy, later finishing at Cornell University. He began an active stage career shortly after leaving college, playing with great success with Grace George. Then came a period of five years in stock which was followed with a long vaudeville tour. Vitagraph finally made him an offer to appear on the screen, and Mr. Menjou was a success from the very beginning. His is a likable personality, one which projects itself into the hearts of his audiences in a most sincere fashion. He is a splendid character delineator, is married, and an enthusiastic lover of good music. He dances splendidly, is fond of golf, and swims, when his studio duties permit. He is 5 feet 10 1/2 inches tall, weighs 155 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
