Marguerite Courtot
MARGUERITE COURTOT was born in Summit, New Jersey, on August 20th., 1897, and received her elementary education in New York City, later finishing in Switzerland. Though considered one of the pioneer stars of the screen, she having been at one time a favored player in Pathe serials, Miss Courtot made her really great success in "Down to the Sea in Ships." She later married Raymond McKee who was featured in the production with her. Prior to her screen debut, she was an artist's model, and she is herself interested in art, painting with skill. Miss Courtot is found of athletics, swims and rides well, and drives her own car. She is an accomplished pianist, and is 5 feet 2 inches in height, weighs 110 lbs., and has golden brown hair and greenish blue eyes.
