Mae Murray
MAE MURRAY was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, on May 9th., and came to New York City when 14 years old, in search of a theatrical opportunity. She was then an accomplished dancer, having taught herself this art. At fifteen she was selected for a place in the Ziegfeld Follies, where she achieved fame as the famous "Nell Brinkley Girl." So pronounced was her success, she was immediately besieged with offers to appear on the screen. Following the trend of the times, she made her screen debut with Famous Players shortly after, and has since steadily climbed the ladder of public approval. She is extremely well read and is noted for her great generosity and superb beauty of face and form. Miss Murray is married, is an expert golfer and swimmer, stands just 5 feet 3 inches in height, and weighs 121 lbs. She has wonderful golden hair and deep blue eyes.
