KENNETH HARLAN was born in New York City on July 29th., 1895, and attended Horace Mann School in that city. He attributes his stage career to the fact that he wished to achieve as much fame as an actor, as his mother achieved as an actress. Following graduation from school, he joined Gertrude Hoffman's magnificent vaudeville act, and toured with her until he was engaged to play the juvenile lead with Robert Hilliard's "The Fortune Hunter" company. Soon after he was recognized as an actor of sterling qualities, and he became a great favorite. It remained for Lois Weber to induce him to appear on the screen, and from the very beginning he was successful. He has played with Constance Talmadge to good advantage. Mr. Harlan is married to Marie Prevost, is 6 feet in height, weighs 180 lbs., and has brown hair and eyes.
