Alice Terry
ALICE TERRY was born in Vincennes, Indiana, in 1901, and received her education in that city and in Los Angeles, where she made her home prior to embarking upon a screen career. She was persuaded by a friend to seek screen fame. A small part which she gladly accepted marked her first screen appearance. It was Rex Ingram who gave her her first real screen opportunity, and history has recorded how this charming actress embraced that opportunity, and burst upon the screen a full-fledged star, almost unheralded. Miss Terry is a student, spending much time in study and reading. She is fond of golf, and rides real well. She married Mr. Ingram shortly after completing her second picture under his direction. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 121 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes. On the screen she usually is seen with a blond wig.
