Evelyn Brent

EVELYN BRENT was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1899 and in early youth came to New York City where she received her education. Subsequently her family removed to Los Angeles, Cal., and it was not long ere the film fever caught her and she made her appearance in the ranks of the extras. Her histrionic talents were so marked that her director picked her from a large group to essay a small part. So well did she acquit herself in this role that, in a short time Miss Brent was playing leading roles. Then she went to London to appear on the legitimate stage and "doubled" on the screen at the same time. Remaining abroad for 6 years she toured the continent, making pictures in Spain, Italy, Holland, and France ere she again came to her native land. Miss Brent is 5 feet 4 inches in height, weighs 115 lbs., and has dark hair and eyes.
