Charles De Roche
CHARLES DE ROCHE was born in Port Vendres, in Southern France, on July 7th., 1893, and ever since he made his first screen appearance, has succeeded in bringing to his characterizations the picturesque treatment for which the foreign actor is so well known. He saw active service during the World War, winning the Croix de Guerre for heroic conduct in action. It was in the late part of 1922 that Famous Players brought this capable actor to the United States and he has since appeared continuously in American films, winning for himself a wide circle of friends and followers. He is an expert dancer and is a skillful swimmer, tennis player, long distance runner and boxer. He is a graduate of Hoche College in France. Mr. De Roche has chestnut hair and gray eyes, weighs 177 lbs., and is 5 feet 10 inches in height.
