Bessie Love
BESSIE LOVE was born in Midland, Texas, on September 10th., 1898, and attended school there until she left for Los Angeles where her family made their new home, and where she became a pupil in the Los Angeles High School from which she graduated. To D. W. Griffith belongs the credit for having introduced this charming little actress to an enchanted motion picture public. Possessing genuine talent, she quickly made her way up the screen ladder to success. Born with the name Juanita Horton, at this time she decided that Bessie Love would be easier remembered. She is a great believer in the outdoors, at one time being on the verge of becoming a farm owner. Miss Love is just 5 feet in height, weighs 100 lbs., and has beautiful golden hair and large expressive brown eyes.
