Conrad Nagel
CONRAD NAGEL was born in Keokuk, Iowa, on March 16th., 1897, and received his education in Highland Park College, Des Moines, Iowa. His father is a musician, and composer of more than passing note, and he himself has been an actor ever since his 16th. birthday. He has appeared with success in stock and in vaudeville, and made his first big success on the legitimate Stage in "Forever After." He is married to Ruth Helms, a former screen player, and the couple make their home with their young daughter in Hollywood. He is a great student, being well read, and possesses a splendid library. Mr. Nagel is best known for his convincing characterizations of the sympathetic lover, though he has often stated it was his pleasure to play character roles. He is of athletic figure, plays tennis and swims, and is 6 feet tall, weighing 160 lbs., and has blond hair and brown eyes.
