Tom Mix
TOM MIX was born in Texas, and received his education in the Lone Star State. From earliest youth the popular star rode the plains as a cowboy, and when Theodore Roosevelt issued his famous call for volunteers for his Rough Riders, Mr. Mix was among the first to enroll under the great American's leadership. Serving with distinction in the Spanish-American War, he again essayed the role of a pioneer when he enlisted as a Selig Player with that old film producing company. Then came his big opportunity with the William Fox organization, and today Tom is rated as one of the most popular screen stars. He is married, and has a baby daughter. At Mixville, Arizona, he has a splendid ranch where he trains and raises the horses used in his productions. Mr. Mix is also a writer and director, is 5 feet 10 inches in height, weighs 165 lbs., and has dark hair and eyes.
