Owen Moore
OWEN MOORE was born in Ireland, and came to America with his family when but 11 years old, the family setting in Toledo, Ohio. There Owen received his education, and while still in school, decided that the stage held the greatest attraction for him. Accordingly when under 13 years of age, he made his first appearance. Followed then a tour with a road company, and then in 1909, the awakening of his interest in motion pictures. He was one of the first players to be starred upon the silver sheet by D. W. Griffith, playing with Mary Pickford, whom he subsequently married. He is a great baseball "fan," fond of boxing, and swims with rare skill. His golf trophies are numerous, and his hiking records are something for professionals to shoot at. Mr. Moore is married again, has a happy home in Hollywood, is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 155 lbs., and has dark hair and blue eyes.
