Lucille Ricksen
LUCILLE RICKSEN was born in Chicago, Ill., and received her education there and from private tutors. When a child she appeared on the legitimate stage for a year prior to making her screen debut at the old Essanay Studios of Chicago. With the closing of these studios she journeyed to California where she attracted much attention by her clever work with "Buddy" Messinger, in a series of Booth Tarkington comedies depicting child life made by Goldwyn. With childhood a memory, she appeared in the Palmer Photoplay Corporation's production "Out of the Storm," as a grown-up. She is one of the most promising of the younger leading women, is 5 feet 2 1/2 inches tall, weighs 112 lbs., and has blond hair and brown eyes.
