Hedda Hopper

HEDDA HOPPER was born in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, and received her education in Pittsburgh, Pa. Soon after matriculating she made her first stage appearance in "The Country Boy" under the management of Henry B. Harris. In 1917 Miss Hopper received a flattering offer to appear in the silent drama, and her beauty and talents soon became familiar to film "fans." Her slender figure lends itself so well to the wearing of clothes with grace, that soon directors were casting her for society roles in which she excels. Though usually cast as a "vamp," Miss Hopper owns to a love of comedy roles. She has a son, her chief hobbies are hunting and traveling, and she is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 132 lbs., and has brown hair and green eyes.
