HARRISON FORD was born in Kansas City, Mo., on March 16th., 1892, and was educated there and in Los Angeles. His first theatrical appearance was with a stock company in Syracuse, playing many roles that he has since created for the screen. At the time he was playing the title role in "Strongheart" on the stage, he was offered his first screen part in "The Crystal Gazer" by Jeanie MacPherson. He accepted at once and immediately established himself as a screen player of rare excellence. It was his several later pictures with Constance Talmadge, however, that gained him his present wide following. He is an ardent devotee of the drama, and visits New York from Los Angeles regularly to take in the plays. Mr. Ford is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 157 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
