CONSTANCE BENNETT, daughter of Richard Bennett, a stage and screen actor of note, was born in New York City, and educated privately there. Her first professional experience was as a dancer, but her piquant beauty soon made her much sought after by motion picture directors. Because of the record she had achieved on the stage, she started her screen career as a featured player and has already given every evidence that she will develop into a star of the first magnitude. Dancing is one of her chief diversions, and this is not to be wondered at for there are few finer ballroom dancers to be found. Much of her success she attributes to her father, who has been able to give her the benefit of his full experience. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 126 lbs., and has blond hair and flashing, deep blue eyes.
