Bert Lytell

BERT LYTELL was born in New York City, on February 24th., 1885, and received his education in the Canadian city of Toronto, where he graduated from Upper Canada College. He is of a family of prominent theatrical folk, and began his career in Newark, N. J., where he played in stock, later forming his own company and opening in Troy, N. Y. Then came Herbert Brenon with a picture offer, and handsome Bert began the climb which has landed him on the topmost rung of the ladder of public approval. He served with distinction during the World War, returning to the screen, and the hearts of thousands of "fan" followers. He is a splendid athlete excelling at tennis and swimming. Mr. Lytell is 5 feet 11 inches in height, weighs 153 lbs., and has dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
