WALLACE MACDONALD was born in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, on May 5th., 1891, and received his education there, after which he appeared with local stock companies. He has since fulfilled stock engagements in San Francisco, British Columbia, and Arizona. After 10 years of stage experience, Mr. MacDonald decided to try his fortune in the world of the silent drama, essaying a start in the old Triangle pictures. Since then he has had a colorful career, appearing opposite some of the screen's greatest girl stars. His work is always pleasing, and he numbers thousands of film "fans" as his personal followers. Mr. MacDonald swims and rides, and is noted as a splendid golfer. He is interested in writing, spending much spare time in this art. He is an indefatigable worker, and at times directs pictures. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 150 lbs., and has black hair and dark brown eyes.
