MAY McAVOY
MAY McAVOY was born in New York City, on September 8th., 1891, and after attending the grammar schools, entered and graduated from Wadleigh High School of that city. Her first ambition was to become a school teacher, but fortunately the school's loss was the screen's gain, for this charming little miss is one of the most talented actresses on the screen. First she appeared in commercial films, then Whiteman Bennett, an eastern producer, gave her an opportunity, and her power to project her pleasant personality from the screen, soon won her a Paramount contract. She is a great lover of dumb animals, having many pets. Miss McAvoy is a talented artist, and a lover of good music. She is a wee miss being less than 5 feet in height. She weighs only 94 lbs., and has brown hair and deep blue eyes.
