DAVID POWELL was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and from youth exhibited a yearning for a career as an actor. This however was discouraged by his family, and he finally became a broker. The stage offered him an outlet for his natural abilities as an actor, and he embarked upon such a career, winning fame and fortune by right of a long and successful career in the support of many noted British and American stars. He made his debut on the screen with the Old World Film Corporation, and was immediately sought by many prominent producers, because of the clean-cut manner in which he handled the roles entrusted to his capable talents. He is an enthusiastic deep sea fisherman, collects antique furniture. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 165 lbs., and has dark hair and eyes.
