CLARA KIMBALL YOUNG was born in Chicago, Ill., on September 6th., 1893, and when but 3 years old, appeared on the speaking stage with her parents, both of whom were noted players. She then entered upon a period of education, becoming a student in St. Xavier's Academy. While at school, she developed a liking for both music and art, and attained proficiency in both ere she graduated. She appeared in vaudeville, stock and legitimate stage productions, before she made her debut on the screen, where, from the first, she was destined to become a star. Miss Young is an emotional actress, and takes a lively interest in stage children. She is fond of outdoor sports, rides and drives well, and loves flowers. She is 5 feet 4 inches in height, weighs 123 lbs., and has black hair and wonderful brown eyes.
