Behold his name completed, Who reigned in Ahab's days on David's throne; By whom his righteous father's ways were shown, And Judah's foes defeated.

Whose house the holy ark of God received ?
Who early of her husband was bereaved?
Who felt a loving father's keenest pain?
In these initial letters find, A precept all our deeds to guide, That bids us think of others weal, And cast all thoughts of self aside.
SCRIPTURE ENIGMA, No. 73. 1. A name, the symbol of mere worldly gain; To love it and love God-the attempt is vain. 2.
